The Inspire! Leadership Program & The Fundamental Stepping Stones for Emerging Female Leaders Terms & Conditions
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement when you enroll in and pay for the seminar. You will have a 48-hour period in which you may withdraw from the seminar after you receive these terms and conditions, provided you provide notice within that forty-eight-hour period. Otherwise, once you have paid for the Seminar, payments are not refundable. In special circumstances, at the discretion of the provider, attendance may be transferred to another later seminar date.
Attendance will be remote by video conferencing technology. The provider is not responsible for the proper functioning of the attendee’s internet connection, computer, tablet, or smartphone, nor for any software used by attendees to participate.
If during the course of the program, a participant shares personal or confidential information, the other participants will keep such disclosed information confidential and not disclose it to third parties without the prior written consent of the person disclosing the information. This provision is intended to protect the disclosing party.
The seminars will be recorded and the recording maintained for 30 days thereafter for review by paid participants, in particular for any participant who missed a portion of the program for any reason. It may not be viewed, nor shared, with others who have not participated in the seminar. It is copyrighted material and may not be legally copied.
You may be furnished with copyrighted materials as part of the seminar. You are responsible under copyright law for any illegal use of the materials including but not limited to unauthorized copying, distributing, or creating derivative versions of those materials.
The content of the seminar is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. Participants may not copy, record, create derivative materials or distribute the materials in the seminar. Participants may only use the seminar materials and information for their own personal education and development and to enhance their leadership and decision-making after the seminar.
The materials and information presented in the seminar are educational in nature and are not intended to be used for specific decisions in actual business situations, without appropriate consideration and modification based on actual circumstances involved in such real-world decisions. Nor are these materials, or the program, legal, accounting, or management advice, and specific such expert advice should be retained when appropriate for actual business decisions. Renee Scudder is not responsible for actual decisions you may make on real business situations unless she agrees to such responsibility in connection with a paid engagement to evaluate and recommend actions based on actual circumstances. You are responsible for your own decisions in real-world business decision-making.
There have been no representations, warranties, or promises concerning the seminar beyond the description of the program on the website.
This Agreement may not be amended nor varied except by written agreement in advance signed by all parties.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, not including its choice of law rules.
Any and all disputes concerning the interpretation, performance, or breach of this Agreement shall be determined by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator pursuant to the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final, binding, and conclusive. All proceedings shall be held within twenty miles of Boston, MA. The arbitrator may award the prevailing party their reasonable legal fees and expenses. Issues concerning injunctive relief for alleged breaches of the United States Copyright Act may be filed in court. Damages shall be determined through the arbitration process.
